Literacy means the ability to read and write. Being able to read and write is an important skill in modern societies. Literacy skills help us understand context and meaning in the written word. It helps us achieve higher-level thinking and helps us to make sense of the world around us
numeracy
Numeracy is the ability to apply maths concepts in all areas of life. Numeracy skills involve understanding numbers, counting, solving number problems, measuring, sorting, noticing patterns, adding and subtracting numbers and so on
quantitative reasoning
Quantitative reasoning is the act of understanding mathematical facts and concepts and being able to apply them to real-world scenarios.

The social studies are also known as social sciences or behavioral sciences. This is the study (as civics, history, and geography) that deal with human relationships and the way society works
